The Situation

Toys-R-Us wanted to capitalize on the success of their new plush-products merchandising program for the approaching holiday season. "Animal Alley" was to be expanded with a larger assortment and deeper inventory of their popular line of stuffed animals. The challenge? create displays for an expanded, multi-themed department with manufacturing and delivery locked into an eight-week time frame.

The Solution

Benchmarc developed a merchandising system for TRU that set new standards in creativity, manufacturing efficiency and fulfillment performance. The new design was fully modular to accommodate a variety of store layouts with displays ranging from about 30 to 60 linear feet. And, Benchmarc manufactured and shipped within the specified eight-week time period. Over 15,000 cartons of display materials were packed and distributed to the national store network in less than ten days.
